GRAND RAPIDS — A West Michigan tech firm has expanded its operations to Germany.
Appropos LLC opened a sales and support office in Munich to support the deployment of its Envoy software-as-a-service platform, according to a statement. The company chose the location to work closely with one of its manufacturing clients.
The Envoy platform — described as the “Swiss Army knife” of wholesale business-to-business software — allows sales personnel and retailers to order products, check inventory, digitally display product, and more, according to the company.
“Our technology, we believe, can show companies that when they grow their business-to-business segment, they’ll also grow their business-to-consumer market,” President and co-founder Jon Faber said in a statement.
Appropos said its partners include “some of the world’s leading footwear and apparel makers.”
Employee Steve Dabbs will be based in Munich to handle staff training and support.
Founded in 2012, Appropos employs 22 people.
